The zoological parks were born as private collections of Kings, queens and people in high places to show their social and economic status. Today, many zoos work through the imitation natural habitats, they are also study centres for animals, but they have especially become an essential attraction for any touristic city. During the Draw I subject of Fine Arts studies, the students went to the zoo once a week to learn how to draw animals in motion. During those days, I took photos of all that attracted my attention in the park. The result of this free association approach can be summarized in a series of images that covers matters such as the representation of animals inside the zoo, the impersonation of nature by artificial settings, the suffering of animals because of the bad environment conditions or the contrast between the landscape of the zoo and that of the city nearby to the zoo.
